| Gambuja’s CV
After a dance and music baccalauréat, I followed a university course as far as a Master’s degree in classical, modern and character dance. This experience was enriched by numerous performances throughout France. I then began to teach children in schools in Paris and the provinces before offering classes for adults. Thanks to a dancer friend I then started practising yoga and I subsequently decided to undertake a two-year period of training at the Paris Iyengar Yoga Centre. I regularly gave several classes a week, having the pleasure to present yoga demonstrations with the children; giving a children’s class under the instructions of B.K.S. Iyengar gave me the opportunity to intensify this aspect of my teaching.
After 14 years of teaching, I am still filled with wonder when I see the transformations which take place in people’s bodies and hearts as a result of this practice.
